Nighttime Routine

I love routines. Some may call me set in my ways, but hey I’ll take it. My favorite is probably my nighttime routine, because it means every step is one closer to crawling into my comfy bed.

 
after dinner

After I eat dinner, I always have my turmeric glow tea with about a tbsp of ACV. It really helps me wind down from the day. I also have to eat one or two or maybe even more pieces of chocolate. My favorite right now is the Hu Kitchen Hazelnut Chocolate. It’s a “healthier” chocolate so that counts for something right? To end off this part of the routine, I watch an episode of Friends. It’s the best way to end off a night.

 
shower time

One step closer to bed time. Now it is time to wash away the day. For my face, I use micellar water to take off my eye makeup and the Sephora Coconut Water wipes to wipe off my face. In the shower, I wash my face with the Origins Checks and Balances cleanser.


After I get out of the shower, I finish off my skincare routine with a few more products. The Laneige toner has been my absolute go to recently. I use it first, then I go in with my Prism exfoliating serum. To lock in the moisture, I use my Laneige Water Bank moisturizer (can you tell I love Laneige) and my Kiehl’s Creamy Avocado Eye Cream.

 
bed time

One. More. Step. This is probably the most relaxing part of my day. This is a step I have been trying to incorporate into my everyday routine. Rather than looking at my phone, I have started to read a book right before bed. Currently, I am reading Code of the Extraordinary Mind. While reading, I like to light a candle to make my room smell fresh and clean. Finally, after I’ve finished my day, I like to put on my Laneige lip mask right before I hop into bed. It smells so good and leaves my lips moisturized throughout the night.
