My Favorite Holiday Party Recipes

The holidays are the best excuse to make all the fun foods you want. My focus is typically on all of the cookies and desserts I love to make, but I also love to try out hearty soups and bowls. Keep reading to see my favorites!

Appetizers

Bacon wrapped dates - oh my WOW. I love dates and bacon, so when you combine the two AND add in dark chocolate and goat cheese, it becomes legendary. These are a definite crowd pleaser.

Cheese board - this is always a party favorite. The mixture of the cheese, fruit, nuts, and meat gives a little something for everyone.

Baked brie - this has always been one of my favorites. We usually have it with a little bit of jam on top and some water crackers.

Entrees

White bean chicken chili - this is my favorite type of chili. It is the perfect winter meal, but it is still light enough to not make you feel miserable after eating it.

Sweet potato gnocchi - gnocchi is a great meal too, because it is a pasta, but it fills you up because it is a potato based pasta. Plus, sweet potatoes are great for you!

Butternut squash soup - soup is a great winter meal. It makes you all warm and cozy and pairs well with a sandwich.
