Birmingham Brunch

Oh look - I’m at brunch. Again. Wearing leopard print. Again. Are we noticing a trend?

When I tell you this print is a staple in my closet, I’m not kidding. No matter the season you will catch me wearing it. Even to a weekend brunch. (By the way The Essential in Birmingham, AL has got it going on.)

Girls Night Out

Sometimes a girls night out is just what the doctor ordered. I used to be a total homebody during the week and would only like to be out and about on the weekends. Recently though I have been loving a mid week catch up with friends. I’ve learned that girls nights don’t have to be some huge production like I used to make them during school. Now I have learned to appreciate a quick little dinner at a casual Mexican restaurant. (In this case it was Little Donkey. YUM.)

Stay tuned for more summer content coming soon. xx

Staying Warm In The Windy City

This past weekend I went to Chicago to meet up with some of my friends from college, and it was so so fun. I had never been before, so I was a little nervous about what to wear in order to not freeze. On the other hand, I was also very excited to bring my big furry coat.

I love wearing the hood when it is extra cold out, and Chicago was the perfect place to do so.

I also realized how nineties the coat looked when worn on the leather side, and I automatically felt super on trend. Even with that being said, I will probably be wearing this coat when I am ninety. I love it so much.

I of course had to take my touristy photos in front of the iconic Bean. It honestly was pretty cool even though it was covered up by tourists - myself included.
