Staying Warm In The Windy City

This past weekend I went to Chicago to meet up with some of my friends from college, and it was so so fun. I had never been before, so I was a little nervous about what to wear in order to not freeze. On the other hand, I was also very excited to bring my big furry coat.

I love wearing the hood when it is extra cold out, and Chicago was the perfect place to do so.

I also realized how nineties the coat looked when worn on the leather side, and I automatically felt super on trend. Even with that being said, I will probably be wearing this coat when I am ninety. I love it so much.

I of course had to take my touristy photos in front of the iconic Bean. It honestly was pretty cool even though it was covered up by tourists - myself included.

A Saturday at the Brentwood Country Mart

Hey LA! It has been way too long. I seriously think I was having palm tree withdrawals being away that long. I definitely had a long list of places I wanted to go back to in LA, but I also had a few new places I wanted to check out.

Brentwood Country Mart was at the top of that list. It was pretty gloomy the day we went, so it wasn’t a long adventure, but it was so cute while we were there.

The Essence of My Skincare Routine

I don’t know about you, but I am a sucker for a good skincare routine. I love love love the feeling of a cleaned and refreshed face after a long day. Well, I love the feeling even if it hasn’t been a long day at all.

I used to stick to the same routine every single day for years, but in the past few months I’ve been stepping out and trying new products. Tatcha products have always caught my eye, but I never made the investment. Now, I don’t know why I never did. About a month ago, I was sent a couple of Tatcha’s products to try out, and I fell in love.

1. The Essence

I wasn’t really sure what an “essence” was, but I wasn’t going to turn down skincare products. Ever since I started using it though, I am addicted. It has made my skin feel so, so soft.

2. Violet-C Brightening Serum

I am not lying to you when I say that this stuff WORKS. I was in desperate need of a new vitamin C serum when I received this package, so I was overjoyed when I saw what was inside.
